Drawing in Landscape

ALEX JACK
February 1 – April 2
Most of his work is a simplifying of the landscape to shape and line, allowing the media to be as important as the image itself. Shapes and colours blend with soft pastels while solid, strong lines are created with pencil and market. Sections in melded watercolour. His work can be compared to David Milne. Both artists captured the landscape in same area of central east Ontario.
