Ingredients: 
2 cups Heavy cream
¾ cup Sugar
1 Lemon
1 lb Strawberries
The Historic Recipe: 

"Take 1 pound of raspberries, 6 ounces of sugar, and the juice of a lemon; mix with one good pint of custard cream (nos. 1 to 5). Tammy, and colour with liquid carmine or cherry red (p. 63). Freeze and finish as for other ices."
